2024 DOT DESIGN EXHIBITION IN PUNT-C, DUTCH DESIGN WEEK

Description
Dot Design participated in Dutch Design Week 2024, showcasing our recent achievements in sustainable design. Our presentation highlighted four key sustainable materials: natural bamboo fiber, recycled pulp, recycled plastic, and reclaimed stone. Throughout the exhibition, we provided a detailed overview of the journey from raw materials to finished products.
We hope to foster new collaboration opportunities and explore potential partnerships through this event.
點睛設計於2024年參與荷蘭設計週,展示了我們近年在永續設計領域的成果。本次展覽聚焦於四種永續材料:天然竹纖維、回收紙漿、回收塑膠,以及回收石材。我們以細緻完整的方式呈現了從原材料到最終產品的整個設計與製作過程。
我們的目標不僅是展現點睛設計在永續設計領域的專業與創新,更希望藉此推廣台灣的永續設計成就,並創造更多跨國合作的機會與可能性。
点睛設計は2024年のオランダデザインウィークに参加し、近年の持続可能なデザインの成果を展示しました。展示では、天然の竹繊維、リサイクルパルプ、再生プラスチック、再生石材という4種類の持続可能な素材に焦点を当て、原材料から最終製品に至るまでのプロセスを詳しく紹介しました。
私たちの目標は、持続可能なデザイン分野における当社の専門性を示すだけでなく、台湾の持続可能なデザインの成果を広く発信することです。このイベントを通じて、新たな協力の機会を創出し、多様なパートナーシップの可能性を探求したいと考えています。

2. Use Phase
- No child labor; comply with relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Decoration and arrangement of exhibition areas should comply with the 3R principles: Reduce, Recycle, Reuse.
- Use LED lights or energy-saving equipment for electrical installations in the exhibition area.
- Minimize printing of paper materials for related activities, and use electronic data instead. (Provide QR codes on-site for participants to download).
- Provide water stations in the exhibition area and encourage participants to bring their own eco-friendly cups.
- Reduce unnecessary promotional or commemorative items and avoid excessive packaging. If providing souvenirs or gifts, choose products made from recycled materials and distribute them on-site without additional mailing.
- Provide transportation guides to encourage the use of public transportation.
- Set up appropriate waste collection and resource recycling facilities, promote resource recycling, reduce waste generation, and encourage the public to keep the venue clean.
- Prefer using video playback, audio recordings, or various light effects over fireworks and firecrackers to reduce waste, avoid air pollution, and minimize noise or vibrations.
3. Disposal Phase
- During the dismantling process, try to avoid using large demolition equipment, and handle recyclable materials properly.
- For entering/exiting decoration waste, please classify and concentrate according to the exhibition hall regulations.
- For general waste, please follow the exhibition hall and event area regulations for garbage classification and collection.
