HDPE pipe offcuts generated during construction are recycled and transformed into modular seating that combines aesthetic quality with public value. Inspired by the shape of a donut, the design incorporates recycled toy plastics to create distinctive textures. Its modular, disassemblable structure enables flexible use in various settings, establishing a sustainable model based on “traceable sourcing, local remanufacturing, and circular application.
RE:TWIST is a circular design project that transforms discarded plastic toys and marine waste into collectible figures through recycling, redesign, and local manufacturing. Each character carries a story of luck, culture, and place, turning forgotten materials into objects with new emotional and environmental value. By combining design, education, and participation, RE:TWIST invites people to rethink waste, discover the potential of recycled materials, and join a more playful circular future.
Smooth curves and layered wave patterns express the rhythm of the sea and the movement of tides. Light reflects softly across the surface, creating a subtle shimmer that adds depth and texture. The textured base improves stability and provides an anti-slip function, combining refined aesthetics with everyday practicality.
The Coral Chair is crafted from recycled “waste toys” and features a dual-sided design with varying heights. One side offers low chair legs suitable for children, while the other side provides taller chair legs for adults. The chairs can be stacked to create large shared seating arrangements.
In 2021, “re-ing” launches a new conceptual product series of sustainable circular design.
From fabric, button, to thread. All parts of the products only used by PET material for convenient recycling and classification.

Dot Design participated in Dutch Design Week 2024, showcasing our recent achievements in sustainable design. Our presentation highlighted four key sustainable materials: natural bamboo fiber, recycled pulp, recycled plastic, and reclaimed stone. Throughout the exhibition, we provided a detailed overview of the journey from raw materials to finished products.

re-ing Brand collaborates with Taiwan-based plastic-free materials to create a fully recyclable plate. The design offers a classic round shape and a diamond pattern, allowing users to choose based on their needs.
Made from 100% plastic-free bamboo fiber and colored with natural food-grade dyes, the plate showcases a rich texture. The diamond pattern not only enhances structural stability and stackability but also creates striking light and shadow effects.
Made from natural bamboo fiber and plant-based starch, while the brown color is created by mixing recycled coffee grounds, without any added plastics or polymers, further enhancing possibilities for eco-friendly design.

The exhibition centers on “circular design,” incorporating Thailand’s natural elements with palm materials and focused imagery. Emphasizing sustainability, it replaces complex woodwork with spotlight effects, making each piece a unique focal point. This aligns with the theme “S.P.O.T. Thai Good Design – Sustainable Gold Spot Exhibition,” where “spot” reflects the focus. The acronym S.P.O.T. highlighted Thailand’s sustainable design philosophy and development.
